« Objet chorégraphique contemporain » : c’est sous ce mystérieux libellé que se présentent les inaccoutumés… autrement dit les indisciplinés de tout poil, les réfractaires au joli canonisé, les dissidents récidivistes et autres résistants face aux vents dominants. Et chaque année, alors que l’hiver s’installe doucement, on en retrouve quelques uns des plus ardents dans le laboratoire d’expérimentation qu’est devenue, en vingt cinq ans, la Ménagerie de Verre sous la houlette de Marie-Thérèse Allier. Pour cette édition, Alain Buffard reprend Good boy, solo fondateur créé voici dix ans, qui délaissait le corps-outil du danseur, le mettait à nu pour repartir de zéro et inventer une nouvelle grammaire articulaire. Il présente aussi une création, selfs&others, autoportraits diffractés de quatre danseurs, qui jouent la tension entre individualités et groupe, histoires personnelles et devenir collectif. La nudité des corps se trouve aussi chez Pascal Rambert, auteur-metteur en scène qui, dans Libido sciendi, chorégraphie l’acte d’amour sous la lumière crue de nos regards, sans tabou ni limite. Ou encore chez François Chaignaud et Cecilia Bengolea, avec leur troublante Pâquerette… qui fait de la pénétration le mode de relation à l’autre.
Sous le signe des rencontres
Elie Hay, repéré comme interprète chez Gisèle Vienne, s’intéresse également au thème de la rencontre. I like him and he likes, sa première création, décline trois états de corps : la bagarre, l’amour, la fête. Soit les trois pans d’un triptyque de haute intensité qui met en jeu la chair dans sa triviale concrétude, sa résistance, comme le socle des possibles. Pour la brésilienne Marcela Levi, la rencontre passe par des objets, qu’elle prend comme sujets pour chercher des sensations inédites à leur contact. Enfin, ces Inaccoutumés 2008 se refermeront sur Point d’orgue 1, 2, 3, 4 et 5… Pour ce projet hors norme, le concepteur lumière Yves Godin a des invités de choix : Yves-Noël Genod, Vincent Dupont, Olivia Grandville, François Chaignaud & Fanny de Chaillé, la Cellule d’Intervention Metamkine et Boris Charmatz… investiront l’écrin scénique chacun à leur façon, c’est-à-dire radicalement différente.
