C’est toujours un plaisir que de plonger dans la programmation des Inaccoutumés : les tout jeunes artistes côtoient des chorégraphes et performers reconnus ; les propositions artistiques sont un régal de diversité. Une seule caractéristique les rassemble : la vigueur et la radicalité des choix esthétiques. On découvrira ainsi une performance/installation de Manu Laskarpour deux corps, chant et vidéo, imaginée pour l’espace des douches de la Ménagerie de Verre. On retrouvera ensuite le performer, danseur, chorégraphe et ancien policier Frans Poelstra, qui nous amène notamment à reconsidérer le rôle des objets en scène : souvent confinés au rôle d’accessoires, ils deviennent ici des révélateurs d’intimité, déjouant l’illusion de contrôle que l’on a sur eux et se chargeant, peu à peu, de questions et d’enjeux existentiels. Rachid Ouramdane, dans Un garçon debout, propose à Pascal Rambert – auteur, metteur en scène, qui interprète ce solo – de « faire paysage » avec un jeu d’images vidéo et un guitariste live, cependant que François Chaignaud nous propose de renouer avec le plaisir du trouble qui caractérise ses installations et spectacles : il définit LaCulture des Individu.e.s comme « une sorte d’opéra miniature, ensommeillé et résolu, pour matelas (empilés et tumultueux), liqueurs (s’évaporant), glaives (tranquilles), et lampes (acérées et possiblement tournoyantes). »
Repenser notre perception de la danse
A bien y regarder, ce foisonnement est néanmoins parcouru de quelques thématiques communes, qui dessinent peut-être les contours des « grands questionnements » de la création chorégraphique actuelle : plusieurs propositions visent à troubler ou reconfigurer notre vision de la danse et du corps dansant. C’est le cas de Maria Jerez, qui questionne la place du spectateur en fragmentant la « réalité » de ce qui est donné à voir. Julie Nioche nous invite elle aussi à un voyage perceptif, dans un « espace où il est encore possible de laisser s’exprimer les désirs hétérogènes, contradictoires et changeants ». Une façon, aussi, de donner à penser ce que la danse dit de nous – danseurs ou spectateurs.
