Le répertoire des Jeunes Solistes est immense, couvrant l’ensemble du répertoire de la polyphonie vocale de la Renaissance à nos jours, et peut compter sur la virtuosité et l’adaptabilité d’une équipe de quatre à vingt chanteurs professionnels aux sensibilités stylistiques plurielles. Dans ce nouveau projet présenté sur la scène – sous-utilisée et à l’acoustique idéale – de l’amphithéâtre de l’Opéra Bastille, Rachid Safir construit son programme en rapprochant les personnalités de Josquin des Prés, grand maître de la musique « Renaissance » et du compositeur suisse contemporain Klaus Huber, « deux créateurs emblématiques de leur époque qui, à la lumière de leur sensibilité, confrontent à cinq siècles de distance leur vision du « Miserere ». Le premier s’en est tenu au texte strict du Psaume de David, tandis que Klaus Huber a invité Octavio Paz, Jacques Derrida, Walter Benjamin, Carl Amery et Mahmoud Darwich à se joindre à sa réflexion sur l’humanité d’aujourd’hui », précise le chef des Jeunes Solistes. Dans le même programme, des œuvres vocales de Guillaume Dufay (1400-1474) et Johannes Ockehem (1420-1495).
