Les Molière de Vitez
Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers / de Molière / mes Gwenaël Morin
En 1978, au Festival d’Avignon, Antoine Vitez met en scène une tétralogie moliéresque qui renouvelle durablement le rapport aux classiques. « Les œuvres du passé sont des architectures brisées, des galions engloutis, et nous les ramenons à la lumière par morceaux, sans jamais les reconstituer, car de toute façon l’usage en est perdu, mais en fabricant, avec les morceaux, d’autres choses. », disait-il. Presque quarante ans plus tard, Gwenaël Morin choisit de travailler ces matériaux dramaturgiques avec de jeunes comédiens issus de la même promotion du Conservatoire régional de Lyon : Mickaël Comte, Marion Couzinié, Lucas Delesvaux, Chloé Giraud, Pierre Laloge, Benoît Martin, Julien Michel, Maxime Roger, Judith Rutkowski et Thomas Tressy. « Les Molière de Vitez n’ont pas l’ambition de produire un discours inédit sur Tartuffe ou Le Misanthrope mais de les réactiver le mieux possible, tels quels ». Sans décor ni costume, se déploie une formidable machine à jouer, dans laquelle « tout repose sur le jeu de l’acteur qu’accentue la distribution au hasard, qui met cul par-dessus tête toute la cosmogonie de l’emploi et des convenances. »
