Au fil de ce temps fort cirque du mois de décembre, des spectacles déjà fameux, salués par la critique et le public, tels Öper Öpis de Zimmermann et de Perrot ou Du Goudron et des plumes de Mathurin Bolze, côtoient des créations 2010, à découvrir. Parmi ces créations, une première en France, A deux pas de là-haut, duo d’inspiration clownesque concocté par Joao Paulo Dos Santos, orfèvre du mât chinois, combine cirque, manipulation d’objets et musique. Cette dernière création de la compagnie O Ultimo Momento, qu’il interprète avec Guillaume Amaro, s’appuie sur une technique originale qui permet un rapport à la verticalité insolite et infiniment riche, en utilisant un instrument atypique, le mât-bâton, mobile et maniable. Ainsi les deux acrobates nouent-ils une relation subtilement burlesque où le découpage du territoire provoque ou esquive la rencontre. A découvrir aussi Le Funambule de Jean Genet, spectacle conçu par Cédric Gourmelon, qui s’empare du texte dédié par l’écrivain à son compagnon funambule Abdallah Bentaga. A travers les conseils prodigués au jeune artiste, le metteur en scène reconnaît un chant d’amour sur l’acte de création.
Epopée fantasmagorique
Petit Mal de la Race Horse Company originaire d’Helsinki propose un spectacle exubérant chargé d’adrénaline où les trois acrobates se provoquent et sabotent l’agrès de l’autre, sur une scène encombrée de pneus, planches, boules acrobatiques, mât chinois, palmier et trampoline. Un concentré d’humour et de fausse nonchalance savamment maîtrisée. Quant à Ivan Mosjoukine, la présentation clôt une résidence des quatre acteurs de cirque à l’Hippodrome de Douai. Avec un sens du montage très cinématographique, les quatre artistes construisent à vue un spectacle étonnant et drôle. Öper Öpis de Zimmermann et de Perrot donne à voir de savoureuses et renversantes histoires sans paroles, merveilleusement drôles et souvent absurdes. Et Du Goudron et des plumes de Mathurin Bolze embarque le spectateur dans une épopée fantasmagorique, où cinq personnages se débattent sur un plateau suspendu dangereusement instable. Une manifestation stimulante, célébrant toute l’audace d’artistes contemporains visant au dépassement de soi et à la construction de formes scéniques originales.
