Au cœur des forêts de la Haute-Marne se niche l’abbaye cistercienne d’Auberive, transformée aujourd’hui en centre d’art contemporain. Pendant les premiers jours de juillet, le lieu accueille également un festival de musique dirigé par la violoniste Marianne Piketty. En écho à l’exposition temporaire consacrée au peintre tchèque Alfred Kubin, la programmation est cette année dédiée à la musique slave. On retrouve de grands interprètes venus de la Mitteleuropa : le Quatuor Prazak (le 16 juillet), ou le Philharmonia de Prague (le 17 juillet). La musique yiddish est aussi bien représentée, avec notamment le Sirba octet (le 9 juillet) et, dans un registre plus « rock », les Yeux noirs (le 18 juillet). Marianne Piketty passera de sa casquette de directrice du Festival à celle de violoniste chambriste, notamment dans un programme intitulé « Bohemian Rhapsody » (le 17 juillet) avec la pianiste Dana Ciocarlie. A noter que les concerts du premier week-end de juillet se déroulent à l’abbaye d’Auberive et ceux du second week-end à Langres.
