NOUVELLE PRODUCTION / CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES
Monter la trilogie des opéras de Mozart écrits par son librettiste Da Ponte (Les Noces de Figaro, Don Giovanni et Cosi fan tutte), tel est le projet de Marc Minkovski et Ivan Alexandre : « Quelque chose s’est imposé à nous comme un personnage unique qui se glisserait d’une pièce à l’autre et unifierait la ‘trilogie’, libertin au cœur inépuisable qui se nommerait Chérubin à l’adolescence, puis Don Giovanni à l’âge adulte, enfin Don Alfonso sur ses vieux jours ». Le chef d’orchestre et le metteur en scène avaient déjà collaboré en 2014 pour La Chauve-Souris de Johann Strauss à l’Opéra-Comique. Ils s’allient de nouveau pour cette production des Noces de Figaro créée au Festival d’été de Drottningholms en Suède avant de s’envoler à l’Opéra royal de Versailles début 2016. Accompagnés par les Musiciens du Louvre, se feront entendre des interprètes rompus au répertoire mozartien comme Robert Gleadow (Figaro) ou les jeunes Ana Maria Labin (la Comtesse) et Florian Sempey (le Comte). Nul doute que le message de Figaro saura résonner particulièrement dans l’écrin de l’Opéra royal de Versailles, inauguré en 1770 et donc presque contemporain de la création de l’œuvre de Mozart (1786)…
