Comment vivre en milieu hostile ? Dans son nouveau texte, Les Petites Filles, Marion Pellissier a imaginé des unités carcérales où la durée d’emprisonnement serait indéfinie. Seul moyen de s’en sortir : séduire le jury, lui prouver qu’on est un citoyen honorable, bref, savoir se vendre. Si le mécanisme de la télé-réalité l’a bien sûr inspirée, l’artiste associée à la Scène nationale de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines s’est également emparée de l’exemple des prisons autogérées aux Philippines. Elle a choisi des personnages exclusivement féminins pour décortiquer les mécanismes qu’elles vont pouvoir mettre en œuvre : quelle solidarité ? quelle rivalité ? Passant à la moulinette les questions du paraître, de l’image et de la représentation, elle poursuit son sillon sur l’enfermement – son précédent spectacle, Ça occupe l’âme, parlait de deux personnages séquestrés, luttant pour ne pas perdre la mémoire –, et crée une mise en scène « qui abolit le quatrième mur et met à nu les ressorts et les travers de la société du spectacle. »
