Tout commence dans une agence d’architecture dont les deux dirigeants, Diane et Benoît, ont pour projet utopique de faire d’une île japonaise abandonnée le laboratoire d’une société nouvelle. Jeune et brillante recrue, Laïa débute sa carrière dans cette entreprise, prenant part à ce projet ambitieux. Mais sa présence aux côtés des deux associés réveille des frustrations et des traumatismes du passé. Attirances sexuelles, démarches de séduction, jalousie, harcèlement psychologique… Une fois arrivé au Japon, le trio fait face à un meurtre qui nous plonge « dans un thriller où les identités se confondent dans un hors temps ».
Des temporalités entremêlées
« En travaillant sur des temporalités entremêlées, explique Charlotte Lagrange, j’aimerais voir comment on hérite d’une idéologie qui s’est inscrite dans les parties souterraines de nos êtres et de nos perceptions du monde, comment on peut se retrouver porteur du ressentiment ou de la frustration d’un autre. » Spectacle-kaléidoscope qui cherche à se déployer « de manière toujours sensible et nuancée », Les Petits Pouvoirs visent à explorer la distinction entre bourreau et victime, entre opprimé et dominant, ainsi qu’à interroger « la responsabilité de chacun dans un réseau de relations qui débordent le visible ».
