« Danses en Nord » : ce sera le thème de la prochaine Biennale de la Danse, qui mettra notamment à l’honneur des compagnies venues du Danemark, de Suède, des Pays-Bas, de la Belgique. Les Plateaux sont l’occasion toute trouvée de faire connaissance avec le travail d’André Gingras, Kajsa Sandström, Palle Granhoj, Stian Danielsen, Claudio Stellato, Barbara Mavro-Thalassitis ou Philippe Blanchard dans des extraits de leurs pièces. Mais les français ne sont pas en reste, avec le très beau solo de Christian Ben Aïm : il incarne dans Louves un personnage inquiétant, jouant d’une trouble identité entre féminité et animalité, tout droit sorti d’un conte pour adulte. Autre danseur magnifique, Dimitri Jourde, que l’on connaît peu en tant que chorégraphe, et qui nous livre ici son propre travail Xebeche. Sa pièce sera suivie d’un extrait de Clash, la dernière création d’Anthony Egéa, qui met en scène deux hommes dans un hip hop tempéré à la mode contemporaine. Cette amitié virile oscille entre douceur et franches empoignades, dans un décor soigné mais épuré.
La nouvelle création d’Heddy Maalem à Créteil
David Wampach offre une réflexion sur un mouvement récurrent du vocabulaire de la danse : le battement. Sa pièce du même nom puise dans la danse classique son inspiration, tout comme dans le french cancan ou dans certaines relèves de la garde qui utilisent ce geste. Beaucoup plus sombre, le Black Soul de Christian Ubl propose une figure emmaillotée et inquiétante comme un reflet de nos âmes. Mais la vedette du week-end est sans conteste Heddy Maalem qui occupe le vendredi la grande salle de la Maison des Arts de Créteil dans sa toute récente pièce, Mais le diable marche à nos côtés : une pièce de groupe avec l’Afrique en ligne de mire, qui témoigne en noir et blanc des bruissements du monde. L’écoute d’un monde en marche avec ce qu’il faut d’épure dans l’écriture précise et fluide de ce chorégraphe.
