Le Festival de Sablé se tiendra fin août, comme à son habitude depuis 1979, réunissant la fine fleur de l’interprétation des musiques anciennes, baroques et classiques (La Simphonie du Marais, Doulce Mémoire, Le Poème Harmonique…). Mais, sans attendre jusque là, le public bénéficie d’un avant-goût des festivités avec les « Préludes de Sablé », qui mettent Haydn et Mozart à l’honneur. L’ensemble Café Zimmermann de Céline Frisch tout d’abord plonge aux sources du classicisme (le 24 avril), puisant son inspiration dans le mouvement préromantique du « Sturm und Drang », suivi par le Quartetti Fugati (le 25) qui propose une évocation des soirées musicales du baron Gottfried van Swieten, protecteur de Mozart et Haydn. Autre évocation (le 25 toujours), celle de la chanteuse Nancy Storace, inspiratrice de nombreux airs des deux mêmes compositeurs, par la jeune soprano néerlandaise Judith van Wanroij, accompagnée de l’ensemble Moderntimes 1800. Enfin, le 26 avril, l’ensemble Stradivaria, habitué du festival, interprète Mozart père et fils, destinant plus particulièrement au public familial la fameuse Symphonie des jouets de Leopold Mozart.
