Théâtre de la Ville, Espace Pierre-Cardin / de Fabrice Melquiot / création collective
Tout a commencé par des lectures publiques, texte en main, dans des écoles. Céline Carrère et Stéphane Krähenbühl ont ensuite lâché leur brochure pour se lancer dans une première représentation des Séparables*, toujours devant des publics scolaires. C’est aujourd’hui l’aboutissement de ce travail, élaboré sous le regard de Christophe Lemaire et Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, que les deux interprètes de la troupe du Théâtre de la Ville (accompagnés par des musiques d’Arman Méliès) présentent au Studio de l’Espace Pierre-Cardin. « Souvent, au cœur des histoires que j’écris, déclare l’auteur Fabrice Melquiot, j’imagine des enfants perplexes (…), qui doutent, qui s’inquiètent (…), [des] enfants qui, à la lumière crue des choses telles qu’elles sont, opposent leur soif d’autre chose. » C’est le cas de Romain et Sabah, deux personnages de neuf ans qui doivent faire face, dans Les Séparables, à l’enfermement de leurs parents. Voulant croire à un avenir possible pour leur amour, ils tentent de se construire un monde à leur image. Un monde sans peur de l’inconnu et de la différence.
