La moins improbable, mais certainement la plus attendue des rencontres, reste néanmoins celle provoquée par Nacera Belaza. Invitée par ailleurs du Festival d’Avignon pour son magnifique duo dansé avec sa sœur, Le Cri, elle profite ici de cette « carte blanche » pour rejoindre sur scène le danseur et chorégraphe Serge Ricci. Deux artistes aux univers radicalement différents, dépouillé pour l’une, plastiquement fouillé pour l’autre, qui se sont souvent croisés au hasard de leurs créations et de leurs résidences, faisant naître un intérêt et un respect mutuels. Quatre semaines et demie… marque ainsi l’aboutissement d’un désir partagé, et un parcours commun à ce jour inédit. La manifestation cette année croise des auteurs venus des quatre coins du monde : Canada, Suisse, Belgique, Liban… Chaque programme des Sujets à Vif se compose de deux pièces. La danseuse Yalda Younes, guidée par la voix de Yasmine Hamdan, offre son interprétation d’une ancienne chanson égyptienne. Antonija Linvingstone et Jennifer Lacey, artistes d’Outre-Atlantique proches du mouvement de la performance, prennent à bras le corps le plateau et leur joie d’être ensemble dans Culture et administration.
Rencontres artistiques et questionnements intimes
Mélissa von Vépy, venue du monde du cirque, offre une rêverie sonore et visuelle. Partie de la situation banale et quotidienne de se retrouver face à son miroir, elle convoque les questionnements intimes de chacun et détend le réel pour mieux montrer l’envers et le revers des choses. C’est une thématique qu’aborde à sa façon Kate Strong, en prise avec l’image d’elle-même et ses élans narcissiques. Avec ironie, elle joue de son métier d’interprète, se livrant à une démonstration d’amour-propre, accompagnée sur scène de Julien Andujar. On peut également découvrir avec cette édition l’autre visage d’artistes comme Lynda Gaudreau, Dominique Reymond, Nicolas Bouchaud… De ces rapprochements provoqués par la SACD avec la complicité des auteurs eux-mêmes naissent parfois de petites perles. Des Sujets à Vifs à consommer sans modération, comme de rares moments de métissage et de partage.
