Imperceptiblement… Le mouvement chez Myriam Gourfink frôle l’immobilité. Il se niche au creux du corps, suit l’élan profond du souffle, se propage par ténues digressions comme un infini frisson. Forgée à partir de techniques respiratoires qu’elle a approfondies en pratiquant le yoga tibétain, tendance tantrique, sa danse puise dans l’énergie sexuelle et dans une perception très fine du microcosme intérieur. Directrice artistique du Centre de recherche et de composition chorégraphiques (CRCC) à la Fondation Royaumont depuis janvier 2008, elle poursuit sa recherche en résonance avec la musique contemporaine. Dans Les temps tiraillés, pièce pour sept danseuses, elle collabore pour la première fois avec Georg Friedrich Haas, compositeur autrichien formé à l’électroacoustique et à l’informatique musicale. Dans le sillage de novateurs comme Ligeti ou Gérard Grisey, sa musique spectrale, foisonnante, souvent répétitive, explore la profondeur du son. Ecrite pour une instrumentation inhabituelle, réunissant deux altos, un basson et l’électronique, elle travaille en « tiraillement » avec la partition chorégraphique diffractée sur 23 écrans. Un spectacle en perpétuelle réinvention dans l’instant de la représentation.
