Aux Tombées de la Nuit, Rennes s’éveille. « Je vous salis ma rue » : un courant d’art souffle sur l’espace urbain, sublime le quotidien, conjure l’ « entre-soi » pour inventer l’ « entre-nous ». Danse, théâtre, musique, installations foutraques et bric-à-brac loufoques : des créations novatrices empruntent des chemins de traverse pavés de poésie. En résidence cette année, la chorégraphe-plasticienne Julie Desprairies inonde les Champs libres de Printemps, qui transfigure avec danseurs, habitants et personnels, les volumes imaginés par De Portzamparc. La magie circassienne envahit le paysage – Nofit State Circus, Fazzoletto, Un Cirque plus Juste -, l’atmosphère foraine caracole avec La Kermesse et Lunapark, quand la musique repousse les frontières de son champ pour flirter avec de parallèles dimensions – scénographie, chorégraphie. Un gigantesque opéra urbain OXC fabrique ainsi du mythe et de la technologie. De facture plus « classique », les concerts reçoivent des convives émérites tels Pascal Comelade, Annie Ebrel, Barbara Carlotti, Ibrahim Maalouf, Denis Cuniot, Julien Jacob, ou encore Nortec Collective !
