Natacha, pianiste et professeur de renom, découvre qu’elle est atteinte d’un
cancer du sein. Bouleversée, elle se demande comment faire face à cette épreuve
et interroge la sincérité des liens qui l’unissent aux gens qui l’entourent.
Parallèlement à ces questionnements, un enfant fait surface, un amant s’enfuit,
un amour se dévoile? « Les Vraies raisons se veut un texte sur la fragilité
de la reconnaissance », explique Claire-Sophie Beau. « Le projet est de
raconter des vies qui s’enchevêtrent comme des fils de soie, comme les touches
blanches et noires d’un clavier. » Confrontant le monde des adultes à celui
des adolescents, l’auteure-metteure en scène a souhaité sonder, à travers « un
texte émouvant, sincère et drôle », les conséquences psychologiques de la
maladie ainsi que les ambivalences et les mystères constituant les relations
humaines.
