Les Yeux fermés… est né du choc artistique ressenti par Mickaël Le Mer lorsqu’il a redécouvert l’œuvre de Pierre Soulages. Aidé par l’éclairagiste Nicolas Tallec et le scénographe Guillaume Cousin, il a alors entrepris de donner vie à cet outre-noir en créant un dispositif au cordeau qui joue du reflet, de l’ombre et de la lumière, des noirs mats et brillants. Plongés dans cet environnement, les corps de quatre danseuses et autant de danseurs sont comme découpés, dévoilant d’abord leurs mains, leurs membres, puis toute la peau. Passant de l’obscur à la clarté, une danse fluide et pulsatile qui s’ancre dans le sol se laisse deviner, jusqu’à ce que la lumière envahisse le plateau dans une apothéose finale.
