SAINT-GERMAIN-EN-LAYE / CHANSON
Les festivals de chanson française ne sont, paradoxalement, pas si nombreux à s’imposer dans le paysage musical hexagonal. L’Estival, piloté par Marc Pfeiffer et une équipe de passionnés, fait partie de ces heureuses exceptions. Pour cette édition-anniversaire, le festival reste fidèle à ses grands principes : « défendre la musique et la chanson francophone sous toutes ses formes, sans exclusive, et donner un coup de projecteur sur des artistes prometteurs ». Ce sera en particulier le cas cette année des 30 ans avec une série de 30 concerts gratuits appelant à découvrir de nouveaux talents. De grands noms sont aussi à l’affiche parmi lesquels Olivia Ruiz, Ben L’Once Soul, Oldelaf, Jil Caplan ou encore Jane Birkin accompagnée par un orchestre symphonique pour revisiter les chansons de Serge Gainsbourg. Mention spéciale aussi aux formidables Amélie les Crayons en concert d’ouverture (le 22 septembre) et à Nour, jeune talent suisse (le 30), qui sortent l’une et l’autre en cette rentrée un nouvel album réussi, respectivement intitulés « Mille Ponts » et « Après l’orage ».
