FOLK-ELECTRO / STUDIO DE L’ERMITAGE
Ce duo, nouveau venu sur le devant de la scène mais en piste depuis 2008, surprend d’emblée par l’association instrumentale qu’il propose : guitare et harpe, rehaussées de voix. Derrière ces deux instruments, deux jeunes musiciens magnifiques et discrets : le guitariste Maël Salètes, déjà remarqué au sein de l’Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp, et Mélanie Virot, harpiste classique d’excellence, formée à la Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. Leur deuxième album, « Memories to come », vient de sortir et étonne aussi par le nom de son réalisateur : le grand producteur anglais John Parish (PJ Harvey, Dominique A, Tracy Chapman…). Le reste est à découvrir sans a priori, sur scène ou en décoction enregistrée, entre voix et instruments souvent utilisés à contre-emploi, dans un enchaînement prenant et habile de climats afro-folk-électro…
