Occitanie fait son cirque en Avignon / Auteurs et interprètes Elvis Buczkowski et Bambou Monnet
Il est annoncé qu’il y aura « du sang, des rires, de la sueur et des larmes ». Pari tenu pour ces deux circassiens, accompagnés de deux « artisciennes » (techniciennes et artistes). Clowns, trapézistes, chanteur et chanteuse d’opérette, Bambou Monnet et Elvis Buczkowski revêtent toutes les tenues et toutes les casquettes en 57 minutes pour un programme de cirque qui donne à voir les affres du patriarcat.
Du cirque brechtien, indiscipliné et burlesque
Engagé, le spectacle pose des constats presque tragiques, mais toujours sur le ton de l’humour pour prendre de la distance. Comme le préconise Brecht, l’idée est de réveiller le public, de ne pas lui imposer une idée mais de le faire réagir à des situations pour ne pas rester passif. Les deux complices de L’hiver rude cherchent donc à faire rire de situations absurdes et à questionner cette absurdité en s’adressant directement au public. Cet esprit brechtien et rebelle crée une ambiance décalée, grinçante mais aussi espiègle.
