Théâtre Artistic Athévains / de Marguerite Duras / réalisation Viviane Théophilidès
Composé du texte de la bande-son réalisée par Marguerite Duras pour le film éponyme, L’Homme Atlantique (publié aux Editions de Minuit en 1982) est un soliloque sur l’amour, sur le manque, sur le délitement, sur les creux et les pleins de l’existence. « Au-delà, bien au-delà d’une histoire, confie Viviane Théophilidès, Marguerite Duras déroule les méandres d’un fleuve d’émotions, plein de boue et de fureur, où flottent les débris de l’amour, avant d’être aspirés par la mer originelle, où retrouver enfin “l’innocence indéchiffrable des commencements” ». Présenté il y a deux ans à Avignon, ce spectacle est aujourd’hui recréé dans une nouvelle version au Théâtre Artistic Athévains. Seule sur scène, sans regard extérieur (les lumières sont de Philippe Catalano), la comédienne s’attache à réinventer « le ravissement », « le rapt » que constitue l’œuvre de Marguerite Duras – prenant ainsi la direction des « confins les plus fragiles de l’âme, dans l’obscurité de ses grottes les plus secrètes ».
