« Je me suis fait la réflexion qu’il était plus facile de comprendre notre monde en s’intéressant aux fonctionnements de ceux qui le dominent. A la finance, à ses rouages, à ses secrets, à ses mensonges… ». Cette conviction rivée en ligne de mire, l’artiste Florence Caillon a mené l’enquête et rencontré Denis Robert, journaliste d’investigation qui a révélé l’affaire Clearstream et depuis devenu plasticien. De leurs échanges est né un projet de spectacle, posant la scène comme espace alternatif où une parole libre peut encore échapper à la censure sournoise des médias et dire les mécanismes discrets des pouvoirs financiers qui régissent nos vies. Tandis que défilent en images des numéros de comptes bancaires, des noms, des codes, huit acrobates racontent cette époque sans dessus dessous par leurs corps bouleversés, suspendus en équilibre précaire, au seuil de la chute. Denis Robert lui commente, dénonce, croise des témoignages, dévoile les mensonges et la désinformation qui ronge la démocratie. Ce cirque engagé ose empoigner le réel et prendre parti, au risque de plaquer le mouvement circassien sur des mots armés en slogans bien pensants ou de reproduire les effets de manipulation dénoncés.
