RECITAL VOCAL / ELEPHANT PANAME
Familier des plus grandes scènes d’opéra, souvent dans les répertoires français et wagnériens, il compte parmi les voix les plus respectées de la scène lyrique actuelle. Son passage récent du cap de la quarantaine semble avoir parachevé son talent. « La quarantaine, c’est l’âge de l’épanouissement pour les voix de basse, si vous en avez pris soin avant avec patience… La quarantaine c’est l’âge où enfin on ne vous dit plus que vous êtes trop jeune pour le rôle ! », confirme-t-il. Pour ce rendez-vous intimiste sous le dôme de l’Eléphant Paname, il nous convie, à l’invitation de Richard Plaza, à un « Instant lyrique » où, accompagné par son complice Antoine Palloc au piano, son programme devrait faire la part belle à la mélodie française. « Mon but est de découvrir le plus d’univers musicaux différents. Le répertoire vocal est tellement vaste ! Mais j’aime ma langue maternelle, sa force poétique, j’aime jouer avec ses mots et les chanter. » confie-t-il…
