THEATRE DES CHAMPS ELYSEES / PIANO ET ORCHESTRE
Les années passent, les engagements et les prises de postes les plus prestigieux se succèdent et le surdoué Lionel Bringuier reste un tout jeune chef d’orchestre ! Il faut dire que tout a commencé très tôt et très vite pour le Niçois d’origine basque aujourd’hui âgé de 31 ans : Premier prix du Concours de Besançon en 2005, six années de résidence au Philharmonique de Los Angeles (où il côtoie Esa-Pekka Salonen et Gustavo Dudamel), une nomination à 27 ans à la direction musicale de l’Orchestre de la Tonhalle de Zurich, et plus récemment un poste de nouvel artiste associé de l’Orchestre National de Lyon (où il compte parmi ceux auxquels on pense pour succéder à Leonard Slatkin…). C’est à la tête de sa discrète mais brillantissime formation helvète – qui selon lui allie « les couleurs sombres et chaudes des formations allemandes et la précision des phalanges nord-américaines » – qu’il fait son retour à Paris, dans un programme sans surprise mais imparable partagé entre le Concerto pour piano n° 1 de Brahms (servie par le germano-russe Igor Levit en soliste) et la Symphonie fantastique de Berlioz.
