PleXus, PraXis et VorteX sont trois pièces chorégraphiques de Lionel Hoche qui ont en commun une façon d’habiter le plateau en coïncidence avec des propositions plastiques, lumineuses, et vidéographiques. Un triptyque qui n’empêche pas que chaque projet ait son autonomie propre. C’est une rare occasion ici que de les voir réunis au cours d’une même soirée. PleXus est un solo, que le chorégraphe et danseur a voulu d’emblée introspectif. Un forme qui se requalifie vite en duo, tant la présence du flûtiste Benoît Toïgo prend toute sa dimension. Avec PraXis, Lionel Hoche entame un dialogue avec deux danseurs, jouant avec eux comme avec les volumes qui occupent la scène. Boîtes à corps, boîtes à secrets, elles abritent un monde intérieur que l’on regarde de loin, mais forment un tout avec le langage des corps.
Un projet à part pour les quinze ans de la compagnie
VorteX a été créé pour six danseurs, et explore la présence des corps dans un environnement habité par l’urbain et par l’Autre. Aujourd’hui, le chorégraphe remonte la pièce avec des danseuses du Conservatoire de Nanterre, augmentant considérablement le nombre d’interprètes. En mécanique des fluides, le vortex désigne un mouvement tourbillonnant, la foule de corps pourra donc en conforter l’écriture. Sur le plateau, des cubes, qui servent à la fois d’abri et d’écran pour l’image, figurent la ville et par extension notre environnement. A l’intérieur, les danseurs tissent des liens sociaux par le simple fait de leur mode de rencontre gestuelle, allant plus avant vers l’idée d’un monde en constante transformation.
