Musique classique et humour ont toujours fait bon ménage. Rappelons-nous que Mozart a même écrit une Plaisanterie musicale avec de vraies fausses notes ou que Haydn mettait des coups de timbales dans ses symphonies pour réveiller les auditrices assoupies ! Aujourd’hui, du Quatuor à la Framboise frivole, nombre de compagnies dépoussièrent la « grande musique » par le biais de l’humour. On se réjouit donc de découvrir dans le Off d’Avignon la création de la troupe suisse Comiquopera, intitulée L’opéra dans tous ses états. L’occasion de retrouver les plus célèbres airs du répertoire lyrique dans une mise en scène de Frédéric Mairy, mêlant habilement musique et théâtre. Il s’appuie sur deux jeunes chanteurs, diplômés de la Haute école de musique de Genève, qui ont déjà fait leurs preuves dans des productions « sérieuses » : la soprano Leana Durney, que l’on a pu entendre dans Bastien et Bastienne de Mozart à Besançon, et le baryton Davide Autieri, qui a tenu le rôle de l’Imprésario dans Viva la mamma de Donizetti à l’Opéra de Fribourg. Ils sont accompagnés par le pianiste Guy-François Leuenberger, aussi à l’aise dans le classique (chef de chant régulier à l’Opéra de Lausanne) que dans le jazz.
