La danse solidement armée, l’humour bien affûté et le geste décidément engagé, Latifa Laâbissi ne lâche pas les questions qui la travaillent au corps. Au contraire, elle les met en mouvement et cogne les clichés de l’époque pour faire résonner sous la cacophonie consumériste ambiante les réalités en souffrance. « Il est grand temps d’engager une réflexion critique lucide sur les réalités camouflées, refoulées voire floutées par un certain post-colonialisme bien pensant » lâche-t-elle. Puisant matière à réflexion chez Pasolini, Deleuze, Jacques Rancière, Jean-Charles Massera ou Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, mais aussi chez Spike Lee ou Buster Keaton, la chorégraphe et performeuse a ourdi un « attentat chorégraphique » drôlement corrosif qui entend dégoupiller quelques-unes des représentations du minoritaire. Voilées sous un vaste drap blanc, elle et sa complice Sophiatou Kossoko jouent des projections, manient imageries et propos glanés à même les bavasseries ambiantes qu’elles détournent en états physiques ravageurs.
