L’oscine est un passereau, un petit oiseau au chant délicieux qui se serait faufilé dans le corps de Claire Despierres. Inoffensif en apparence, l’animal s’avère à la longue bien dangereux s’il prend votre corps pour nid. A la ville, chanteuse lyrique alto, et aussi auteur et docteur en sciences du langage, Claire Despierres se retrouve, dans L’Oscine, seule devant son divan rouge, où elle interprète le rôle de cette femme qui contracte un jour le virus de l’opéra et fait l’apprentissage du milieu. Histoire, musique, discours savants et coulisses d’un univers parfois tordu ponctuent la dramaturgie de cette « pièce de formation » où alternent texte et chants. Un spectacle qui avance comme une tragédie teintée de satire grinçante, et met à nu les forces contradictoires du désir. Un désir qui n’est certainement pas pour rien dans le destin de l’auteure.
