Création 2017 / Maison de la Culture du Japon à Paris /Chor. Fabrice Planquette
Fabrice Planquette est un artiste hybride, qui réalise des collaborations expérimentales entre arts de la scène, poésie sonore, vidéo, installations. Lors d’un séjour à Kyoto, il rencontre la chorégraphe et danseuse post butô Yum Keiko Takayama. Ensemble ils construisent un univers étrange produit par l’association d’un flux visuel, de la métamorphose du corps par états successifs et d’une escalade sonore. En point de mire, la question de la perte – équilibre, repères, contrôle, identité. Si Loss travaille sur le mouvement accéléré du corps mis sous pression au rythme d’une musique saccadée et d’une vidéo syncopée, Layers joue sur le ralentissement extrême, pour tenter de s’extraire d’émotions paralysantes. Le raffinement et la violence, la calligraphie et les mangas semblent s’unir dans ce travail qui perturbe le regard en l’absence de repère dans un monde mouvant. Le doute puis le trouble s’installent, incitant le spectateur à déceler d’infimes détails et entrer à son tour en résistance, acceptation ou repli face au débordement d’informations.
