« Notre époque manque cruellement de poésie. On caractérise ce qui nous entoure par rapport à la fonction des choses, alors que l’on pourrait s’ouvrir à d’autres conceptions, à des visions beaucoup plus personnelles du monde. C’est le sens que je souhaite donner à mon écriture. J’ai envie d’élaborer un théâtre qui puisse toucher l’homme, qui puisse lui faire comprendre que le monde est à la mesure de chacun d’entre nous, qu’il peut prendre l’apparence et la dimension que l’on veut bien lui donner. Mes pièces se fondent sur une écriture de l’ordre de l’incantation, comme des appels poétiques adressés au public, en confidence et en complicité avec lui. Car le théâtre a le pouvoir de créer une grande d’intimité entre les comédiens et le public. C’est ce à quoi je travaille : développer des espaces poétiques qui se rapprochent des spectateurs pour en faire, le temps d’une représentation, des amis intimes. Ceci en s’attachant à réinventer le réel, à explorer un quotidien « extra-ordinaire ». Pour moi, la scène n’est pas un endroit particulier, c’est simplement le lieu du « dire », l’endroit à partir duquel des êtres cheminent pour arriver au bout du monde. »
