Loin des polémiques suscitées par l’exposition des œuvres de Jeff Koons, le Château de Versailles met à l’honneur Jean-Baptiste Lully. Plus de 20 ans après la mythique production d’Atys dirigée par William Christie, force est de constater que le compositeur français occupe aujourd’hui une belle place sur la scène musicale, comme en témoignent ces « Grandes journées » organisées par le Centre de musique baroque de Versailles. La Simphonie du Marais dirigée par Hugo Reyne s’associe à la Compagnie L’Eventail de Marie-Geneviève Massé pour recréer Le Ballet des Arts, écrit en 1663 et évoquant avec délice la peinture, l’orfèvrerie ou encore les plaisirs de la chasse. Le claveciniste Skip Sempé a, de son côté, conçu, avec son ensemble Capriccio Stravagante, un programme particulièrement festif mêlant des extraits des Plaisirs de l’Isle enchantée, de la Pastorale comique et du Grand Divertissement royal de Versailles. Un concert parfait pour découvrir le style hautement expressif et déclamatoire propre à Lully. A noter que les Grandes journées se poursuivent à Versailles jusqu’au 29 novembre.
