Jasmine Morand chorégraphie à la lisière de la danse et des arts plastiques et place le spectateur et ses perceptions au cœur de sa recherche. Pour sa nouvelle pièce Lumen, elle convie treize interprètes au plateau et les nimbe de noir avant que la lumière ne jaillisse de leurs chairs pour finir par atteindre une blancheur paroxystique, éblouissante. Troublant un peu plus notre regard, elle installe un miroir géant, mouvant, qui démultiplie les perspectives et fausse les lignes de fuite. Que voyons-nous ou que croyons-nous voir ? Sont-ce nos espoirs, nos fantasmes, nos peurs qui surgissent de la scène ? Nos certitudes vacillent, notre perception s’ébranle. « Lumen est né d’une promesse intime de mon enfance, où comme une évidence j’avais saisi que l’obscurité gardait pour elle la beauté du monde » écrit joliment la chorégraphe helvète.
