Prenant fièrement la suite d’Yves Saint Laurent et Pierre Bergé qui, de 1977 à 1989, avaient donné vie et gloire aux « Lundis Musicaux » du Théâtre de l’Athénée, série de récitals vocaux ayant reçu et parfois révélé les plus grands (Crespin, Norman, Prey, Raimondi, Van Dam, etc…), Alphonse Cemin a proposé cette saison, sous l’impulsion du directeur du théâtre Patrice Martinet, une programmation de quatre récitals dédiés à l’exploration du répertoire de la mélodie et du lied. Pour ce dernier rendez-vous, le pianiste et co-fondateur de l’ensemble Le Balcon invite et accompagne la jeune basse Nahuel Di Pierro, né en 1984 à Buenos Aires puis formé à Paris où il est aujourd‘hui installé, dans Winterreise (Le Voyage d’Hiver) de Schubert. Nahuel Di Pierro, qui chante sous la direction des plus grands chefs (Ricardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Sir John Elliot Gardiner ou James Conlon), du Royal Opera House à Londres au Deutsche Oper à Berlin, met aussi de plus en plus souvent son art au service du tango, avec une prédilection pour le répertoire des années 1920-1950 dans la tradition des grands chanteurs de tango que furent Carlos Gardel, Alberto Marino ou Alberto Podesta.
