Il est socialement convenu que seuls les corps jeunes exultent et que l’âge mûr n’est pas l’âge tendre. Mais l’amour ayant ses raisons que la raison ignore, il arrive que midi sonne en hiver. Telle est l’histoire que racontent Véronique Viel et Lisa Schuster, celle d’une « woman next door » qui retrouve, à 50 ans, l’amant flamboyant de ses 30 ans. Vingt ans après, les mousquetaires ont vécu, les cheveux sont blancs et les « abdominaux anéantis ». Que reste-t-il de leurs amours ? L’héroïne « fait défiler sa vie sur l’écran magique de ses émotions » et raconte l’amour « fou, universel et vivant ». « Pour la forme, dit Véronique Viel, je me suis inspirée du cinéma, parce qu’une histoire d’amour, c’est toujours du cinéma. J’ai utilisé les flash-back, angles de vue et certains titres de films connus de tous pour évoquer une situation ou une émotion. Nous sommes en caméra subjective, en permanence dans la tête de cette femme au plus près de ses pensées et de ses émotions. » Action ! Et vive la passion !
