Théâtre Victor-Hugo, Bagneux / musique envoûtante
Baignant dans la musique depuis toujours, et déterminée à devenir musicienne comme son père, fondateur du groupe Bratsch, Macha Gharibian a accompli sa vocation en devenant pianiste, au carrefour des cultures. Après des années de formation classique, elle a basculé dans le jazz à la suite d’un séjour déterminant à New York, trouvant dans cette manière d’appréhender la musique un espace de création où laisser s’exprimer son univers éclectique, marqué par les traditions de ses ancêtres arméniens, mais aussi habité par un chant entre folk et pop. La pianiste chanteuse développe son approche en trio avec le sens de l’équilibre et des couleurs, laissant de la place à l’espace, sur des tempos qui se refusent à la précipitation. Elle compose un monde envoûtant, aux résonances autobiographiques, en anglais ou en arménien, auquel elle a donné le titre de « Joy Ascension ». Soit un cheminement vers la joie sur lequel pourrait bien vous entrainer sa musique.
