On avait véritablement découvert la musique du nouveau projet du batteur Antonin Leymarie lors de la dernière édition de Banlieues Bleues. Cet objet musical jubilatoire revient en tournée sous le titre « Ballroom 360° » : un sextet virtuose mis au service d’une musique qui invite à la transe, à la danse et au partage, en plaçant le public tout autour des musiciens… « Cela incite le public à se déplacer, à être en mouvement pour trouver son endroit d’écoute et de connexion avec le groupe. On peut aussi bien « tripper » et danser les yeux fermés, que se focaliser sur un détail. C’est vraiment une super expérience de jouer en circulaire » explique Antonin Leymarie, qui insiste aussi sur le rôle de la voix de Thomas de Pourquery, le crooner étrange et lunaire de ce projet : « Il chante, improvise un riff, une mélodie qui entre dans la construction collective de la transe et fait monter la tension musicale. C’est lui qui donne la mélodie au morceau, mais aussi une sensibilité qui passe par sa belle voix bien sûr, mais aussi son inspiration du moment, toujours prolifique ». A découvrir absolument.
