C’est la fameuse « horlogerie » propre à l’art de Feydeau qui attire l’homme de théâtre qu’est Gérard Gelas. Le vaudevilliste de renom construit des pièces dans lesquelles l’intrigue, agencée avec soin, après un quiproquo ou une rencontre inattendue, lance les personnages dans un monde où s’enchaînent frénétiquement les péripéties saugrenues selon une logique loufoque de l’absurde. D’après le metteur en scène avignonnais, cette esthétique fait la part belle au débordement, au trop-plein d’effets, de péripéties et d’accessoires dans le décor. Dans Mais n’te promène donc pas toute nue !, M. Ventroux, député ambitieux, dont l’avenir de premier ministre est prometteur, est marié à une jeune femme charmante, Clarisse, dont le principal défaut est de se promener en tenue légère devant n’importe qui, en l’occurrence un rival en politique de son époux. Désabusement et jacasserie, l’amuseur ne se veut ni moraliste ni penseur, Feydeau cultive humblement les vertus théâtrales du fou rire. Et Gelas préfère rire, comme le public, et pour lui. Des promesses de situations cocasses et de mouvements allègres. Avec Emmanuel Besnault, Olivia Forest, Guillaume Lanson et Marie Pagès.
