La compagnie Difé Kako pratique le métissage des gestuelles et des musiques : l’Afrique et les Antilles croisent ainsi leurs modes d’expression en toute liberté. Ce spectacle s’inspire d’un conte créole et d’un conte congolais, qu’Igo Drané a réécrits, en visitant à sa manière les personnages, les expressions langagières, les lieux et les thèmes. Ce conte dansé met en scène un singe rusé, Konpè Makak, jouant un tour au Roi Croco. Leurs aventures disent l’importance de l’oralité comme mode de transmission de valeurs morales, de mœurs, de règles et d’interdits, auquel s’ajoute ici l’expressivité des gestes, finement travaillés. Chantal Loïal et son équipe visent à faire découvrir « les différences et les similitudes des traits culturels créoles et africains ». Sur scène le conteur – Igo Drané -, deux danseuses (Emilie Caillon et Rita Ravier) et deux musiciens (Igo Drané et Edouard Lepec). Et tout au long de l’histoire une interaction avec le public.
