Belle rentrée à la Dynamo qui, après avoir accueilli la rencontre entre le contrebassiste performer Fantazio et la batteuse hollandaise Katarina Ex, puis le nouveau trio du bassiste Mathieu Sourisseau (le 24/09), ouvre aujourd’hui sa scène à l’un des plus libres, singuliers et audacieux de nos guitaristes européens. Dans son ambitieux projet Tower, Marc Ducret se laisse inspirer par le roman Ada de Nabokov, œuvre testamentaire et géniale de l’écrivain russe dont la liberté formelle et la force évocatrice ne cessent de fasciner le guitariste. A travers ses deux groupes, les quintette et sextette Real Thing #1 et #3, le guitariste cherche à transposer en musique l’écriture « multifocale » hautement poétique et virtuose du roman : Real Thing #1, première étape de Tower, est un groupe franco-danois composé de Kasper Tranberg (trompette), Matthias Malher (trombone), Frédéric Gastard (saxophone basse) et Peter Brunn (batterie) tandis que Real Thing #3, à la fois prolongement et facette totalement indépendante de #1, délivre en sextette un « répertoire » de « commentaires » sur la musique jouée précédemment par Real Thing #1 sous formes de réécriture ou de mini-fragments, avec Antonin Rayon (piano), Sylvain Lemetre (percussions) et trois trombonistes : Fidel Fourneyron, Matthias Malher et Alexis Persignan.
