Centre Pompidou / Chorégraphie Lenio Kaklea
Est-ce une sorte de jeu que Lenio Kaklea et Kerem Gelebek nous livrent, entre apparition, dévoilement de leur identité, et moment ultime où l’on tombe le masque ? La chorégraphe grecque s’est inspirée en premier lieu de rites funéraires anciens où le moulage des visages constituait une forme de portrait, pour composer Margin Release. Brillante interprète (Boris Charmatz, Emmanuelle Huynh, Fanny de Chaillé…), elle s’est également illustrée dans ses projets personnels qui vont de la performance de groupe (fluctuat nec mergitur avec 250 participants) au spectacle très ciselé mêlant voix et corps (Arranged by date), ou à la cosignature avec Lucinda Childs dans le cadre d’un Vif du Sujet. Aujourd’hui, elle creuse le sillon de son écriture avec Kerem Gelebek, une autre présence forte au plateau, tout en ouvrant des imaginaires à travers son jeu sur le masque. Celui-ci investit aussi le corps, puisqu’on retrouve sur scène les empreintes des corps sous forme d’objets, comme des reflets en négatifs qui jettent le trouble.
