SURESNES / VIOLON ET CORDES
Pages d’abord isolées, composées entre 1964 et 1970 pour son quintette régulier, les Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas ont ensuite été orchestrées par Astor Piazzolla pour être réunies dans une suite en quatre mouvements. « Piazzolla est une figure, un maître du tango contemporain qui à son époque a d’ailleurs été critiqué par les spécialistes du tango… Il a voulu créer un genre à part entière dans le champ de la musique contemporaine ; c’est un vrai bonheur pour nous, musiciens classiques, de s’approprier cette musique » s’enthousiasme Marianne Piketty. Elle choisit ici de les éclairer dans un jeu de miroirs avec les plus que célèbres Quatre saisons de Vivaldi. Des œuvres entendues et ré-entendues mais que la violoniste souhaite aborder dans une rhétorique baroque engagée, avec fraîcheur : « Les vrais chefs-d’œuvre, ce sont les partitions sur lesquelles on peut revenir et revenir encore. On a beau les entendre partout, à chaque lecture, la partition est différente… » confie-t-elle. Ce concert est mis « en espace et mouvement » par le chorégraphe Jean-Marc Hoolbecq.
