scénario Shinji Ueda / mes Minoru Genshô Umewaka, Shinji Ueda / chorégraphie et composition de Nagauta, Kanjûro Fujima
Trois créateurs célébrissimes dans leur pays revisitent leur tradition artistique à la lumière de l’histoire de France et des amours clandestines entre Marie-Antoinette et Axel de Fersen. Le texte de Marie-Antoinette est écrit par Shinji Ueda, qui le met en scène avec l’immense Minoru IV Umewaka, Trésor National Vivant et membre de |’Académie Japonaise des Arts. La chorégraphie et la composition musicale du Kyôgen qui sert d’intermède entre Marie-Antoinette et Tsuchigumo, pièce traditionnelle du XVème siècle, sont du maître Kanjûro Fujima, huitième héritier de l’Ecole Fujima. Après que l’amant éploré se souvient de ses amours défuntes en retrouvant le parfum des roses cher à la reine de son cœur, samouraï et bonze combattent à grands renforts de sabre et de toiles d’araignée. Une plongée exceptionnelle dans une culture mal connue en France et à découvrir !
