Réalisant de nouvelles traductions et adaptations de la littérature théâtrale classique, la Comp.Marius les présente au public dans la tribune de cirque qui dessine ses habitudes scénographiques en choisissant le plus souvent le plein air et les décors naturels pour jouer ses spectacles originaux et étonnants. Conjuguant le théâtre avec cet « autre événement social » qu’est le repas, les acteurs reçoivent les spectateurs à dîner, fondant ensemble tous les plaisirs. Jouant à la suite les trois pièces de Pagnol, Marius, Fanny et César, Comp. Marius convie ses hôtes à lever le verre dans le bistrot de César, à prendre part au festin des noces de Fanny, à croquer des dragées au baptême et à siroter le café aux funérailles. Pendant cinq heures, la saga familiale déploie ses effets et on assiste aux amours tumultueuses de ces cœurs simples à l’envergure tragique en ayant l’impression de participer à l’histoire.
