Centre des Bords de Marne, Le Perreux / Les Démons familiers
Sous le joli titre Les Démons familiers, Mathias Lévy cultive un univers musical aux nombreuses références — à l’image de son instrument nomade — empruntant ses couleurs et ses rythmes à différents mondes, suivant le cours d’une écriture dense et nerveuse, tant sur le plan rythmique que mélodique. Le jazz est, selon ses mots, « un passeport universel » qui lui permet d’élaborer une musique très personnelle, aux accents baroques comme tziganes, rock comme orientaux, qu’il transpose sur scène en quartet, accompagné par le brillant pianiste Thomas Enhco.
