Théâtre Elizabeth Czerczuk / d’après Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz / mes Elizabeth Czerczuk
Depuis son installation en octobre dernier dans son nouveau théâtre, près de Nation à Paris, Elizabeth Czerczuk donne à découvrir son univers tout en passionnants contrastes. Nourri de son héritage des avant-gardes polonaises des années 50-60 et de son regard sur le monde actuel. De l’œuvre de Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz également, dont elle adapte aujourd’hui librement Matka ou « La Mère » (1924). Dernier volet de son triptyque Les Inassouvis, cette pièce est un opéra rock où Elizabeth Czerczuk et Zbigniew Yann Rola, le plus ancien comédien de sa compagnie, incarnent deux idéalistes tourmentés. Perdus dans un univers de débauche qui entrave leur parole et leurs corps. Avec eux, danseuses, musiciens et conférencier entraînent le spectateur dans une expérience immersive tournée vers l’espoir de lendemains moins sombres.
