PHILHARMONIE ET TOURNEE EN IDF / SYMPHONIQUE
Après une jeunesse marquée par les bagarres à mener sur le ring des grands concours internationaux (où il se distingua plusieurs fois, jusqu’à son Premier Prix du Concours Arthur Rubinstein de Tel-Aviv remporté à l’âge de 20 ans), Alexander Gavrylyuk a très tôt décidé de tourner cette page de son existence pour ne plus se consacrer qu’à la musique et à l’exploration du monde… Né à Karkhov en Ukraine, d’abord installé à Sydney où il vit plusieurs années (jusqu’en 2006) et où il adopte la nationalité australienne, passé par Moscou, Alexander Gavrylyuk a finalement posé ses bagages à Berlin d’où il pilote une carrière magnifique dominée par l’exploration du grand répertoire romantique. C’est dans l’une de ses œuvres majestueuses où il fait merveille que l’accueille l’ONDIF aujourd’hui : le Concerto de Grieg. Au même programme, sous la baguette de son énergique directeur musical Enrique Mazzola, la formation francilienne interprète la fatale Cinquième Symphonie de Tchaïkovski, après avoir joué en création mondiale Steampunk Blizzard du compositeur suédois Daniel Nelson (né en 1965), œuvre commandée par l’ONDIF.
