Faire politiquement du théâtre n’est pas forcément faire du théâtre politique. Mohamed Guellati, dont le travail « mêle au divertissement théâtral un questionnement sur les rouages de notre société » et est « traversé par les questions du déracinement et de l’immigration », évoque cette fois-ci une part plus autobiographique de son parcours. Un enfant d’immigré, désigné socialement comme tel, se retrouve contraint à s’intégrer alors qu’il croyait n’être qu’un fils d’ouvrier comme les autres. Venu assister à la démolition d’un immeuble de la Sonacotra, M espère retrouver de vieilles connaissances. Mais il n’y a pas grand monde excepté un jeune homme, K. « Le temps d’une déflagration et le temps des éboulements, ils évoquent et tentent de faire coïncider leurs souvenirs. » K n’a pas tout à fait la même histoire que M mais ils ont en commun d’être nés de parents nés ailleurs et racontent comment ils se sont construits pour échapper à la dislocation autant qu’à l’assignation. Car avant de dynamiter les immeubles, la société française a bien souvent fait exploser les consciences à force de reléguer et de stigmatiser ses étranges étrangers : ce qui est à reconstruire est infiniment plus délicat que les immeubles et il y a fort à parier que des spectacles comme celui de Mohamed Guellati et Kader Attou participent de la refondation de cet indispensable projet.
