Les personnages éponymes sont deux êtres esseulés, en quête de l’âme sœur, que leur rencontre ne va pas satisfaire. Loin de là. Ils ne voient que trop combien l’autre est toujours miroir de sa propre médiocrité. Comment faire alors pour ne pas s’envoyer sa déception à la figure? Les sujets de Levin sont souvent quotidiens, mais véhiculent intacte l’intensité du désir, de l’espoir qui permet à chaque homme de survivre. Tragique condition que celle d’espérer toujours du lendemain, mais Levin pose sur celle-ci bienveillance amusante, amusée, et humanité. Seul sur scène, dans un dispositif dépouillé à propos, qui souligne sa performance, Daniel Kenigsberg interprète comme dans une conférence cet échange entre un pou radin et une flatulente romantique.
