FESTIVAL / PLAINE COMMUNE /MUSIQUES DU MONDE
Avant ses grands rendez-vous de prestige à la Basilique, le Festival de Saint-Denis ouvre sa programmation, comme à son habitude, aux concerts « Métis » sur le territoire de Plaine Commune. Le programme se plaît à brouiller les pistes en provoquant des créations fondées sur la rencontre de musiciens d’horizons différents. La programmation choisit cette année comme emblème l’accordéon, instrument du monde par excellence, en mettant à l’honneur de nouvelles figures de l’instrument : Félicien Brut, Ambre Vuillermoz, Louise Jallu (bandonéon), Pierre Cussac (en duo avec la formidable Fiona Monbet au violon), Daniel Troman au sein du trio Les Tromano, et enfin, Vincent Peirani. A signaler aussi un concert de dernière minute programmé dans le cadre exceptionnel du haut chœur de la Basilique de Saint-Denis, qui réunira autour de la violoncelliste Lola Malique l’écrivain Abdellatif Laâbi (Prix Goncourt de la poésie 2009 et Grand Prix de la francophonie de l’Académie française en 2011) et l’accordéoniste Fanny Vicens. Leur album intitulé « Le Meilleur Lit » sortira pour l’occasion.
