Un riff s’échappe d’une guitare imaginaire, s’enfuit dans l’ombre. Un homme, seul, seul sur une scène de concert, parmi les fantasmes et les instruments de musique, rêve son destin de star. Jean moulant, veste bleue nuit pailletée et torse nu. C’est un rocker. Il en prend les gestes, la pose, la posture. Et le silence bruisse déjà de clameurs enfiévrées qui cognent sur la pulsation des bits. Autour, les claviers, les basses, les batteries et les baffles attendent. Il en explore les possibles, les manipule, cherche leur secret, découvre l’influx électrique, s’empare d’un pied de micro, qui se change en javelot, d’une guitare qui se fait épée, d’une cymbale convertie en chapeau. Peu à peu, le songe devient réalité, des créatures surgissent derrière les instruments, les empoignent, les apprivoisent, bientôt font corps avec eux, maladroitement, mécaniquement puis s’émancipent, se libèrent et prennent vie. Peu à peu, ils ânonnent des sons épars, qui deviennent mélodies, puis chansons. Le réel, qui semblait pulvérisé en éclats évanescents, se recompose, les bruits jusqu’alors décousus s’électrisent. La musique se déchaîne. Et ça déchire !

C’est le danseur et chorégraphe Pierre Rigal qui mène le jeu avec Mélanie Chartreux, chanteuse-acrobate, et trois acteurs-musiciens du groupe Moon Pallas. C’est lui qui donne concrétude à ses chimères par la puissance du désir. Micro opère par métamorphoses et transfigurations, montre la gestuelle née de la musique, les corps possédés, transformés par la passion, la transe de la scène, la solitude et la mise à nu, montre aussi la mythologie rock, qui s’incarne en séries de clichés. « Les stars ne sont plus des modèles culturels, des guides idéaux, mais, simultanément, des images exaltées, des incarnations, des symboles d’une errance et d’une quête réelle. » notait Edgar Morin dans Les Stars, essai publié en 1957. Micro s’amuse avec l’imagerie du rocker, idole sanctifiée et sacrifiée, bête de scène qui ose l’engagement total, cathartique, dans son art. Par la précision des mouvements, la justesse de l’étude, la qualité du concert, la solidité de la dramaturgie et l’humour, Micro suscite fortes sensations et drôlement réflexion.
